IMPORTANT T&C's - PART 1

Due to the complexities and risks associated with solar installations , only recognised PV Green Card and SolteQ Approved Installers or Agents may purchase and install the SolteQ Infinity Slates with their own approved roofing contractors. Both certifications mean that these installers are proficient and compliant with all the relevant national and municipal electrical regulations as well as meeting SolteQ's European Standards for solar installations.

IMPORTANT T&C's - PART 2

Marley will only recognise product warranties/guarantees or entertain any claims, if the approved solar installer has issued Marley Roofing with a PV GreenCard for the project – on completion of an installation, a certified PV GreenCard installer will issue the client and Marley Roofing with both a digital and physical document that details all of the specifications of the solar PV system as well as a checklist that all of the required installation steps have been completed to the required standard. This document can in turn be used as proof of compliance for insurance, finance, and regulatory purposes. In summary, this recognises the solar installation as legal and meeting all the requirements as set out by PV Greencard and SAPVIA (Photovoltaic Association of South Africa)

PROCESS

Step 1 - Please download our Solar Q&A PDF, to gain an understanding of solar and to prepare information required for consultation. Step 2 - Contact Marley Roofing with basic information such as contact details, location of property etc. Step 3 - Based on the location, Marley Roofing will provide the client with a list of approved SolteQ PVGreencard installers. Step 4 - Client to contact approved solar installer/s to ascertain, output requirements, system preference, size and type. Step 5 - Upon acceptance of basic costs, the approved installer will meet with the client on site to further refine output requirements and assess the roof (existing roof) or meet with the appointed architect (new builds) to refine placement of Solar System within the design. Step 6 - The Marley SolteQ Installer will provide cost estimate based on situation and as per the requirements of the client. Step 7 - The Marley SolteQ Specialist orders materials and appoint their preferred roofing contractors or sub-contractors. Step 8 - Installation of roof (new roofs or replacement) and PV system is done cohesively, followed by a final inspection by the Marley SolteQ Approved Installer. Step 9 - The approved installer submits copies of all documents required by law and PV GreenCard to the client, Marley Roofing and PV GreenCard. Step 10 - Client to contact Marley Roofing after having received copies of their documents to confirm submission of copies to Marley Roofing. Step 11 - Marley Roofing will provide a letter to the client acknowledging receipt of all required documents and PV GreenCard Project Number and confirm implementation of guarantees related to the Marley SolteQ PV Solar Tile or SolteQ Infinity Slate. ** Please note!
