The Kutana Group is excited to announce its investment in Marley Roofing as further evidence of its support of the South African manufacturing sector. In partnership with the Marley Roofing executive team, Marley Roofing is now a wholly-owned South African business led by one of South Africa’s leading black female investment companies.

The Kutana Group with its investments within media and telecommunications, food services, property, financial services, and industrial manufacturing sectors acquired Marley Roofing on 10 July 2020. This acquisition will form part of the Group’s industrial cluster which includes Atlas Plastics, Plastinternational, Herschell (greases and lubricants), and SVA Holdings (supply chain and risk management), amongst others.
Marley Roofing was previously owned by Etex, a large Belgium-based industrial company that has been shaping the roofing industry for over 65 years. The investment by a highly respected BEE team will open opportunities for Marley Roofing to extend its services to local government and support its clients with the appropriate BEE credentials.
