Mortar Bedding mixed with Oxides
Bedding and pointing mortar for ridges and hips should consist of 3 parts clean sharp sand (plaster sand) to 1 part Portland cement, suitably tinted with Marley's Oxides - mix small quantities of oxide into the wet mixture until the desired colour is achieved, testing the dried cement result to ensure a good colour match.
Mortar Bedding and Touch-ups with M22
Mix mortar cement as per above specification, excluding the use of Oxides. Marley's M22 Paint requires no primer. Before painting ensure that the surface has dried and free of dust and particles. Using a standard quality paint brush, apply 1 to 2 coats of Marley's M22 Paint.
